Our project in Ibiza, Sant Josep de Sa Talaia consists of two units, the first is a detached house for the owners of the property and the second is a small hostel with 4 rooms next to the original house.
Conceived as a tribute to the legacy of one of our most inspiring architects, Oscar Niemeyer, the setting is constantly portraying curves all throughout the spaces, brittle walls and the almost sculptural design of some components of the vernacular architecture such as the stairs. Not to mention its famous furniture design starring the Ottoman model chair this time customised in different materials to achieve its integration into the chromatic range proposed for this space and which is so emblematic in Ibiza.
Materials are all local and are based on the tradition of the use of Ibizan stucco and the local organism culture.
